About
10 Games is a single-tape collection of games and programs. It includes Klingons, in which a spaceship returning from a mining expedition encounters a Klingon battlefleet. With no guns available, you must ram every Klingon using your shield in a top-down scrolling game, earning extra points for hitting Battleships and Motherships.
Crash-Landing is a text-only spaceship game in which a meteor strike forces you to make an emergency landing on a planet using only your rockets. You monitor fuel, velocity, height, and time. Simon is based on the classic sequence game: repeat the computer's color sequence as it grows by one color after every successful round. Artist is a cursor-based drawing program for making pictures and shapes.
In UFO, a row of UFOs sits at the top of the screen while your spaceship scrolls from left to right below them, firing one shot at a time to remove parts of the UFOs. Hits score points and restart your ship from the left; missing a UFO or reaching the right edge loses points. Code is based on Mastermind, requiring you to guess a four-digit number within a set number of attempts, with feedback for correct digits in correct and incorrect positions.
Asteroids places your unarmed spaceship in an asteroid field, where you must avoid asteroids for as long as possible. Bomber is a side-view game in which you fly from left to right and drop bombs on dams placed in different locations. Kaleidescope is a non-interactive program that displays moving dots forming symmetrical shapes. Guillotine is a two-player Hangman-style game: Player One enters a word, while Player Two guesses letters before a guillotine is completed.
