On a cold November night, an innocent life ends prematurely at a desolate mountain estate. William Goldberg, a controversial yet immensely successful businessman, dies under mysterious circumstances while surrounded by family and close friends. An upstanding member of society and owner of Goldberg Industries, a multi-million-dollar arms company that supplied the military during World War II, Goldberg's death causes an uproar at the local police department. The case appears tailor-made for legendary detective Knox, a prodigy who has solved more than 100 cases. Accompanied by Clark, an aspiring young detective assigned by the Chief to keep watch over him, Knox travels to the Goldberg estate to uncover the truth. The mansion lies miles from the nearest settlement and hidden from the public eye, making it natural to suspect that only those present could be involved. Follow clues, gather evidence, and uncover key information by interrogating suspects. Every puzzle piece is presented, and it is up to you to deduce who committed the murder, how it happened, and why. This mystery visual novel is inspired by classic Arthur Conan Doyle and Agatha Christie novels, as well as the When They Cry series.
