Ancient Wars: Sparta

Ancient Wars: Sparta is a real-time strategy game in which players control the Spartans, Ancient Egyptians, or Ancient Persians. The game features three separate campaigns, one for each culture, and each campaign contains multiple missions. The campaigns are independent and can be played in any order. Missions within each campaign follow a linear progression, with each mission becoming available only after the previous one is completed. Although gameplay focuses primarily on combat, Ancient Wars: Sparta also includes economic micromanagement. Players must generate enough resources to build armies capable of defeating opposing forces. Each mission usually features multiple primary objectives and may also include one or more secondary objectives. Secondary objectives are optional, but completing them often rewards players with troops and/or resources.

Ancient Wars: Sparta features three independent ancient-world campaigns focused on the Spartans, Ancient Egyptians, and Ancient Persians. In each faction's linear series of battles, players gather resources, build armies, defeat opposing forces, and complete campaign objectives.
