About
Ankh: The Tales of Mystery is a 3D point-and-click adventure game set in Cairo, Egypt, in 500 BC. Players control Domi Rhadjif, a boy whose father asks him to complete several errands, despite the terrorists outside their house being anachronistically armed with automatic guns. Domi eventually has to rescue a princess, deal with the god Osiris, and eliminate the Libyan terrorists. Although the game is set in ancient Egypt, it includes numerous modern elements and items for comic effect.
The game uses a classic point-and-click interface. Players use the mouse to move around and select actions such as Use, Look, Pick up, Talk, Give, and Open from the bottom of the screen. Domi can collect items and store them in the inventory shown in the bottom-right corner. Players can also talk to non-player characters and choose from multiple dialogue options.
