About
Arabian Nights is a 3D action-adventure arcade video game published for Microsoft Windows in 2001. The game was published by Visiware and Wanadoo and is based on One Thousand and One Nights.
Storyline
Arabian Nights is a 3D action-adventure game similar to Prince of Persia 3D. Its seven episodes follow a serial format, with each episode having a distinct beginning and conclusion.
You play as Ali, who must find and rescue the Sultan's five beautiful daughters, quintuplets who disappeared on the eve of their 21st birthday. Throughout the adventure, you will face a variety of enemies and choose how to fight them. Cast one of four magic spells, use more than 30 hand-to-hand maneuvers with your hands and feet, attack with your scimitar, or throw knives and other weapons.
Ali can also walk, run, sprint, jump, climb ladders and ropes, cross tightropes, read parchments and inscriptions, fly on a magic carpet, push and pull objects, play the flute, and pick up and use inventory items. Interact with more than 60 non-player characters across locations such as towns and neighborhoods, the Palace, a burial ground, crypts, and gardens.
