Arctic Tale

Set against the effects of global warming and changing climate conditions in the Arctic, Arctic Tale follows a polar bear and a walrus as they struggle to survive in the Arctic Circle. Based on the follow-up to March of the Penguins, this 3D animal adventure lets players control both creatures in an evolving environment. Each animal has different attributes, including speed, stamina, strength, and hunger, which change according to its condition and surroundings. Each animal has its own 12-stage episode, taking players across snowy mountains, turbulent ice sheets, and vast frozen oceans. Survival-focused minigames involve hunting for food, fighting predators, and adapting to the environment. Arctic Tale features National Geographic information and presentation that is educational and helps guide players through the game. The narrator presents situations, events, warnings, and educational information throughout the adventure. The game uses intuitive Nintendo Wii controls to enhance immersion.
