About
Astrea is an all-new dice-deck-building roguelike in which you travel through the ruins of a lost civilization as one of six brave Oracles. Build an ever-changing deck of dice and use enchanted Sentinels to Purify waves of Corrupted foes and a decayed goddess in a battle to save the Star System. Choose from hundreds of dice to match your playstyle, whether you prefer reliable safety, perfect balance, or powerful risks. Manage Astrea's risk-versus-reward system by pacifying enemies through Purification or Corrupting yourself to unleash abilities that can tip the scales. Discover valuable boons, overcome waves of enemies that block your progress, and chart a path through the ruins to the source of the Corruption.
Storyline
Long ago, when ancient ruins were flourishing civilizations and their people lived in idyllic bliss, a mystical star governed all. Its loyal disciples, known as the Six-Sided Oracles, were blessed by the star with the power to seal the gifts of heavenly bodies within mystical relics.
Everything was perfect and harmonious until the fateful day of the Crimson Dawn Cataclysm. A ferocious inferno descended from the sky, engulfing the entire star system, crumbling the foundations of society, and corrupting the souls of the weak-willed. The star's disciples were lost in the chaos, and their creations were scattered across a vast world of ruin. Could anyone still wield their power?
Eons later, brave young scions awaken to a mysterious call beckoning them toward the ruins of the ancient disaster. There, they discover the legendary six-faced relics and writings about the original Six-Sided Oracles, a vengeful deity, and a Corruption Plague. The new Six-Sided Oracles set out to save their star system and uncover the secrets of its destructive history.
