Bayonetta

Bayonetta, a member of an ancient witch clan with powers beyond mortal understanding, takes on countless angelic enemies—many on an epic scale—in 100% pure, all-out action. She strings fights together with balletic flow, unleashing outrageous finishing moves across stages that feel like a theme park of high-intensity set pieces. With fast-paced, dynamic climax combat, Bayonetta pushes the limits of the action genre.

Bayonetta is a witch who awoke 20 years ago inside a casket at the bottom of a secluded lake. Seeking the truth behind her forgotten past, she travels to Vigrid, a holy city in Europe tied to the ancient conflict between the Lumen Sages—worshippers of light—and the Umbra Witches, followers of darkness. There, she battles what seems like an endless army of angels and clashes with another Umbra Witch, Jeanne. Guided by a mysterious voice, Bayonetta is joined by the suave journalist Luka Redgrave and accompanied by the young, innocent Cereza—whose sudden appearance may be linked to the mystery of Bayonetta’s lost memories.
