Black Wolves Saga: Bloody Nightmare

The first game in Rejet's Black Wolves Saga otome game series. The second entry, Last Hope, is set in an alternate universe but otherwise follows the events of the first game.

Fiona, the protagonist, has lived in a secluded tower because of her fragile health. The country is in turmoil amid a severe disease outbreak known as Zodiva, or Mad Wolf Disease. Mejojo becomes interested in Fiona because of her upbringing and wishes to make her his bride, but Fiona's father refuses. Rumors soon spread through town that Fiona is a witch. Mejojo and Auger exploit these rumors to arrest her, allowing them to observe her while she lives in the castle. Eventually, Fiona's half-brother Nesso and her butler Zara rescue her, and they escape together. The story is a dark historical political fantasy in which humans, wolves, cats, and other animals are ruled by two crafty feline tyrants. The cat twins endured various forms of oppression in childhood, including assassination attempts, and learned to survive and gain power. However, these experiences also drove them toward insanity. There is nothing they will not do to get what they want.
