Bramble: The Mountain King

Bramble: The Mountain King is a grim adventure game set in a world inspired by dark Nordic fables. Explore the beautiful but dangerous and twisted land of Bramble as you attempt to rescue your sister. Cross a wondrous landscape and survive deadly encounters with Bramble's many hideous creatures. Nothing in Bramble is quite as it seems. In this strange land of creatures large and small, you must know when to approach and when to hide. Hungry, spiteful beasts lurk throughout its forests and caves, so watch your step.

A shy boy and his adventurous older sister sneak out of their home at night and travel deep into a nearby forest. While exploring an ancient ruin, the ground suddenly collapses, sending them through a sinkhole into the lost and magical world of Bramble. Together, they explore Bramble and befriend curious, strange spirits. However, not every creature they encounter is friendly. The siblings are caught off guard when a huge troll traps them and abducts the sister, leaving her younger brother lost in despair. Without his older sister and role model, the shy boy feels lost. He must find strength within himself and grow up quickly to face the horrors and monsters ahead. As he begins his journey to reunite with his sister, he also uncovers a dark curse that has sickened the world. Before long, he realizes that something dangerous is lurking in the shadows beneath the mountains.
