About
BurgerTime is a 1982 arcade game developed by Data East for the DECO Cassette System. Originally titled Hamburger, the game was renamed BurgerTime before its US release. Players control chef Peter Pepper, who must walk across hamburger ingredients spread throughout maze-like platforms while avoiding pursuing enemies. BurgerTime became popular in arcades. In the United States, Data East USA licensed the game to Bally Midway for distribution. The Data East and Midway versions can be identified by the manufacturer name on the title screen, as well as their marquee and cabinet artwork.
