Castle of Blackwater

Castle of Blackwater is a multiplayer social deduction game where 10 players explore a magical 2D castle, complete tasks, and uncover hidden allegiances. Players join one of three factions, each with unique abilities that support its role in the game. While alive, players use various tools to gather information and identify threats. Eliminated players can still influence the outcome by collecting souls to purchase power-ups for their team. Through alliance-building, deception, and strategic use of abilities, each faction fights to survive and ultimately control the castle.

Almost a thousand years have passed since the great Earlwind Axelot discovered the mysterious Blackwater Castle and the magical madness surrounding it. According to history, magic itself originated within the castle's walls. The castle was never built; instead, it appeared seemingly out of nowhere. Since its arrival, Blackwater Castle has granted individuals the gift of magic if they survive its challenge and complete its quest. What began as Earlwind's community of followers has grown into a sizable village of scholars and challengers. Every year, people from all walks of life travel to Blackwater Village to dedicate themselves to studying the castle's profound history and secrets. Their ultimate goal is to overcome the castle's challenge and receive the gifts of magic. Occasionally, groups of students form temporary alliances and enter the castle together to attempt its quest, knowing that failure results in death.
