D.C.5: Da Capo 5

Kagamijima is an island closest to the sky. Lake Mikagami reflects the sky like a mirror, while a towering sakura tree stands at Kagami Gakuen. Kujou Souma attends Kagami Gakuen. His childhood friend, Yasaka Menoa, is an inseparable yet undesired, queen-like presence. Tokisaka Yukina is the student council president and an older-sister figure. Shirawaka Akari is an unreachable ojousama. Yasaka Kako, Menoa's younger sister, calls Souma her big brother. Suginami is their mysterious and well-informed friend. Together, they enjoy a cheerful school life. At Kagami Gakuen stands a curious sakura tree known as Hakari no Sakura. It can collect student consensus on choices. Students wear either white or black capes over their uniforms, and Hakari no Sakura counts the wearers to determine the majority. In the latest choice event, called a Hakarigoto, students must decide whether the next school festival will be a cultural festival or a sports festival. They promote their preferred side and compete to make it the winning choice. Such events are a natural occurrence whenever a Hakarigoto takes place. Then, one day, Souma visits Lake Mikagami. Another sakura tree, which has not bloomed for many years, blossoms brilliantly. As he looks to the sky, a young girl descends alongside the falling petals. "Yes, you are...," whispers the mysterious girl, Sakuragi Mizuha. As the boys and girls meet, fate begins to move. While out-of-season sakura blooms, the curtain rises on their story.
