Devolver Bootleg

Devolver Bootleg contains eight original rip-offs of Devolver Digital games: Enter The Gun Dungeon A dungeon crawler where swords are replaced by guns, and everything, including the dungeon itself, is made of guns, bullets, and related stuff. Hotline Milwaukee Brutal, fast-paced stealth action with a whole lot of blood. From a garbage person apartment in historically interesting and relevant Milwaukee, pick up the phone and answer the call of murder. Follow instructions and descend deeper into a mysterious basement. Where does it lead, and who are you? Ape Out Jr. Escape ape prison in this classic arcade-style platformer as an orange gorilla who kills everyone to see his dad again. Grab unsuspecting guards to use as weapons and shields in this completely original idea, accompanied by an interpretive chiptune jazz drummer soundtrack. Ape Out was my father's name. Shootyboots The never-ending story of a young boy falling down a well while wearing a giant boot like overalls, which is also a gun. Collect gems, squash and shoot fauna, fall deeper into the infinite well, and wear other equally large, ballistically designed shoes. Super Absolver Mini: Turbo Fighting Championship (2 Players Only) A competitive fighting game featuring four masked combat disciples. Choose two special moves and fight for two rounds. The winner is absolved of the obligation to fight again, but probably will anyway, because the one true resolve of the flesh is a fist colliding with it. Catsylvania A cat inside a suit of armor. A cat in full plate armor. PikuBiku Ball Stars (2 Players Only) Everybody's favorite red thing with legs returns to sink baskets with a friend. Nothing but net. Slam dunk. Luftrousers Hello, I am Rami Ismail, 1/2 of Dutch independent game development studio Vlambeer. We made a version of Luftrausers with a typo, and JW left the thumbdrive containing the source at a coffee shop somewhere while I was giving talks in Berlin, Nairobi, and Los Angeles the following day. If you find the thumbdrive, please return it. Please do not share its contents or add it to a compilation of pirated, under-the-table rip-offs of games published by Devolver.

Devolver Bootleg features eight comedic, deliberately altered takes on Devolver Digital games, each built around an absurd premise. Its stories include answering murderous phone calls in Milwaukee, escaping ape prison, and falling endlessly through a well in weaponized boots.
