Dordogne is a narrative adventure game starring Mimi, a 32-year-old woman visiting the home of her recently deceased grandmother. Set in both the present and the past, Dordogne has Mimi explore the rooms of her grandmother's home in the present timeline. In the past, players help 10-year-old Mimi explore Dordogne and complete quests that affect the present. As both versions of Mimi solve puzzles, they collect photos, sounds, objects, and words to create Mimi's journal, preserving young Mimi's memories of summers spent with her grandmother in Dordogne.

As a memento of the childhood summers Mimi spent with her grandmother in Dordogne, she inherits letters and puzzles that encourage her to make the most of life. In this colorful region, rich with scents and emotions, Mimi returns to her childhood memories and sees the world once more through the eyes of the little girl who marveled at everything.
