Dragon Age II

Dragon Age II is the sequel to Dragon Age: Origins and the second major entry in the series. Like its predecessor, it uses a third-person perspective for exploration and combat and features companions who play major roles in both story and gameplay. Based on player choices and dialogue, companions may come to see the protagonist, Hawke, as either a friend or a rival. The game uses a wheel-based dialogue system with short responses that reflect different tones and attitudes for Hawke. Combat is similar to the previous Dragon Age game but noticeably faster-paced.

Set in the world of Thedas, players take on the role of Hawke, a human mage, rogue, or warrior who arrives in the city of Kirkwall as a lowly refugee and rises to become its legendary champion over a turbulent decade of political and social conflict.
