Dungeon Keeper Premium

Dungeon Keeper Premium (ダンジョンキーパープレミアム) is a Japan-only release and repackaging of Dungeon Keeper. It includes Japanese and English voice and text, plus The Deeper Dungeons, the Desktop Theme, and the Direct3D version. It does not include the Dungeon Keeper Level Editor. Unlike western releases, there is no MS-DOS version—this edition is Windows-only. The package also comes with the story booklet The Dreadful Demise of Derek the Dauntless. Some versions include an Electronic Arts loading cinematic that is not present in western versions of Dungeon Keeper. It also includes a creature “investigative report” booklet listing each creature’s stats, which is not included in western releases (though the same information appears in the English official guide book). Later releases add trailers for other Electronic Arts games, including Dungeon Keeper 2; this is the later trailer. Although it may look like the Japanese name for Dungeon Keeper Gold at first, the many differences strongly suggest Dungeon Keeper Premium is a separate release.

Dungeon Keeper Premium is a Japan-only Windows repackaging of Dungeon Keeper, where you play an underground evil overlord who builds a dungeon, recruits creatures, and fends off invading heroes. This edition includes The Deeper Dungeons expansion and bonus extras while preserving the core campaign’s dark fantasy strategy premise.
