In the earliest days, there was no sun, and the world lay in darkness. Then the heavens opened, and stars fell like beacons into the black below. They were called Embers. The Lightbringers—powerful, wise druids of a primordial race—wandered the land in search of this radiant substance. Through a ritual of awakening, they called the Embers from deep sleep. The world ignited with brightness, and the veil of darkness lifted. Embers embodied magical flame, light, and life.
