Fallout 2

A turn-based tactical Western RPG set in post-nuclear California. The Chosen One must search for and retrieve the fabled Garden of Eden Creation Kit to save their famine-stricken tribe. Along the way, branching dialogue trees introduce numerous tribes, factions, and micro-civilizations, each with distinct virtues, vices, socioeconomic conditions, and political agendas.

In 2241, the tribal village of Arroyo suffers its worst drought on record. To save the community, the village elder sends the Vault Dweller’s direct descendant—known as the Chosen One—to retrieve a Garden of Eden Creation Kit (GECK), a device capable of turning the post-apocalyptic wasteland into thriving communities. Taking on the role of the Chosen One, the player begins with only a few essentials: the Vault Dweller’s jumpsuit, a RobCo PIPBoy 2000 handheld device, a Vault 13 water flask, a spear, and some cash to start the journey.
