About
A modern reimagining of one of gaming’s most iconic titles, Final Fantasy VII Remake uses the latest technology to recreate and expand Square Enix’s legendary RPG for the current generation. Set in a post-industrial fantasy world controlled by the shadowy Shinra Electric Power Company, you play as Cloud Strife—a mercenary and former member of Shinra’s elite SOLDIER unit—and join the anti-Shinra group Avalanche as they intensify their resistance.
Storyline
The world is dominated by the Shinra Electric Power Company, a shadowy corporation that controls the planet’s very life force by extracting it as mako energy.
In the massive city of Midgar, the anti-Shinra group Avalanche escalates its resistance. Cloud Strife, a former member of Shinra’s elite SOLDIER unit turned mercenary, joins their fight—unaware of the far-reaching consequences that lie ahead.
