Storyline
Fishing: North Atlantic, the successor to the cult-favorite fishing simulator Fishing: Barents Sea, is due to arrive on Steam in October. Take the captain's chair in the majestic Canadian waters of Nova Scotia, brave the high seas across six realistic ports and fish habitats, and search for ocean gold. Wishlist the game on Steam and follow the Fishing: North Atlantic community on Discord for the latest catch of the day.
"We're excited to be nearing the end of the road in development on Fishing: North Atlantic," said COO Yasemin Hamurcu. "Our avid fan base from Fishing: Barents Sea have been clamoring for a successor, and we are aiming to give them exactly what they want with stunning graphics, a slew of fishing methods and breeds, with dynamic fish habitats and market prices. This is as close to the life of a fisherman on the high seas as most of us will ever come!"
Plan your fishing career throughout the year. Brave rain and snow as you search for the best fishing zones while keeping a watchful eye on your quotas. Fishing: North Atlantic features 25 handcrafted boats, new weather systems with upgraded atmospheric effects, and new fishing methods including harpoons and deep-line buoy fishing. Advanced fish AI requires GPS and sonar to track prey movements based on weather and water temperatures. Begin by harpooning swordfish and tuna, then progress to setting deep lines for snow crabs or lobster as you experience the life of a deep-sea fisherman without getting wet.
