About

Kanashimi no Sirene is the third game in the Galaxy Fräulein Yuna series and continues the story from the previous game. After successfully saving Earth, Yuna and her new friend, the perpetually hungry female android Yuri Cube, return to their ordinary high school lives—or so they believe. Yuna’s old enemies will do anything to destroy her, including falsely accusing her of planning to conquer the galaxy. Their accusations attract the attention of a high-ranking female intelligence officer from the Galaxy Alliance. Operating under the codename “Sirene,” she poses as an exchange student at Shiraokadai High School while secretly planning to arrest Yuna. Like the other games in the series, Kanashimi no Sirene mainly features automatic transitions to different screens followed by dialogue choices. The game also includes turn-based battles, where players must select the right attacks at the right time to defeat opponents. Several minigames appear throughout the story, including a quiz show and a slot machine-style game used to obtain new clothes for Yuna. An extensive Extras menu contains a character album, graphical sketches, and photographs of series-related materials such as magazines and covers from previous games.
