Gears 5: Game of the Year Edition

From one of gaming’s most acclaimed sagas, Gears 5’s campaign, refreshed multiplayer, and the Hivebusters expansion are optimized for Xbox Series X|S. Gears 5 Game of the Year Edition includes the Gears 5 base game, Halo: Reach Character Pack, 30 days of Boost, and the Gears 5: Hivebusters expansion. In the Campaign, as all-out war descends, Kait Diaz breaks away to uncover her connection to the enemy and discovers the true danger to Sera—herself—while new features let you carry character and weapon skins into new playthroughs and tackle bonus difficulties and modifiers. In the Hivebusters Expansion, play as Lahni, Keegan, and Mac—heroes of Escape mode—on their first operation in the secretive Hivebuster program. Dubbed “Scorpio Squad,” their suicide mission to destroy a Swarm hive may be the key to saving Sera and earning redemption. PvP delivers competitive Versus play with modes and content added since launch, while PvE lets you team up to survive in Horde or push through Escape by choosing your character and class. Xbox Series X|S enhancements include reduced load times, instant resume, 120 FPS in Versus, variable refresh rates, and 4K HDR Ultra visuals on Series X. Smart Delivery automatically provides the optimized version for your device, including Xbox Series X and S. Play three-player Campaign co-op online or via split-screen, and customize your experience with accessibility options like full controller remapping, single stick movement, Adaptive Controller support, narrated UI and menus, improved subtitles, and more.
