Geneforge 4: Rebellion is the fourth role-playing video game in the Geneforge series, created by Spiderweb Software.

The Shapers can create life in any form they choose. They can grow plants in harsh wastelands, make living tools that obey their commands, and unleash powerful monsters to crush anyone who opposes them. They fiercely guard their abilities and destroy those who question their will. Or at least, they did. Then the revolution began. Some of their creations, tired of living in bondage, rose up against them. Jealous humans who wanted the Shapers' powers for themselves joined the rebellion. Now the lands of Terrestia are filled with ruins, refugees, and maddened mutant beasts hunting for prey. War has spread across the world, and the Shapers are winning. You are a rebel with the power to craft life, sent to fight the Shapers. At least, that is what you were told to do. Will you stand against your oppressors, or join them in pursuit of the incredible rewards they offer? You have the power to change the world. Which path will you choose?
