Become the Master Assassin in a tense spy-thriller story. As Agent 47, you carry out contract hits on powerful, high-profile targets in exotic locations around the world. Each mission takes place in a large, intricate sandbox where you have total freedom of approach—where to go, when to strike, and who to kill is up to you. Hitman is an expanding, evolving world of assassination. The experience began with a Prologue and the Paris location in March, followed by Episode 2: Sapienza in April, Episode 3: Marrakesh in May, the Summer Bonus Episode in July, Episode 4: Bangkok in August, and Episode 5: Colorado in September. The season finale in Hokkaido, Japan arrived on October 31st. HITMAN also includes a major live component featuring Elusive Targets, Escalation Contracts, Community-inspired Challenge Packs, and Contracts Mode. Elusive Targets are designed to capture the core Hitman fantasy. These custom characters are added to existing locations for a limited time in real time, and you only get one chance to eliminate them. If they escape, they’re gone for good. If you take them down, that outcome is permanent—no do-overs and no second chances. Once an Elusive Target leaves the game world (one way or another), they never return. Escalation Mode is a new way to deliver fresh challenges regularly. You’ll need to master both the location and the mechanics as each hit escalates in difficulty with added elements. It’s focused on having fun with the systems and mixing them up—more playful than realistic. Contracts Mode returns from Hitman Absolution: play-to-create by marking your own targets, choosing how to eliminate them, and competing with friends. The best creations may be selected for the Featured Contracts list, giving you new content to play whenever you jump in.
