About

What You Do

Iconoclasts is a side-view, single-player platform adventure about Robin, an unlicensed mechanic trying to help people on a dying planet. You explore a large open world, work through intricate puzzles, meet unusual characters, and face menacing bosses. The story follows Robin as pressure builds around her, with One Concern agents pursuing her and Penance affecting the people she cares about. Its science-fiction setting also examines faith, purpose, and whether the world is worth saving.

Who Will Enjoy It

This is suited to players who want a story-led indie adventure rather than a purely mechanical platformer. The mix of platforming, puzzles, exploration, bosses, and a side-view perspective should appeal to people who enjoy moving through interconnected spaces while following a personal science-fiction story. It is specifically listed as single player, so it is best approached as a solo experience.

Buying Guidance

Check the live price on this page and confirm that your intended platform is listed: Linux, Mac, Nintendo Switch, or PC (Microsoft Windows). Consider whether its combination of Adventure, Indie, Platform, and Puzzle genres matches how you like to play. The supplied information describes a large open world and intricate puzzles, but does not provide detail on play length, difficulty options, or other features, so those may be worth verifying before buying.

Storyline

Robin wants to be a mechanic and help people, but without a license, she is considered a sinner in Mother's eyes. Since picking up her wrench, the world has been going mad, and Robin has wanted to bolt it back together. Now Penance is raining down on everyone she loves, while One Concern agents pursue her. Something bigger is happening than Ivory fuel droughts and personal conflicts, and Robin is caught in the middle of it.
