Indiana Jones and the Fate of Atlantis

This LucasArts point-and-click adventure originally released in 1992, then returned nearly a year later on CD-ROM as an enhanced “talkie” edition with full voice acting and digitized sound effects. In 2009, that version was also released as an unlockable extra in the Wii action game Indiana Jones and the Staff of Kings, and as a digitally distributed Steam title. As the seventh game to use the SCUMM script language, Fate of Atlantis has you explore locations and interact with objects and characters using command phrases built from predetermined verbs. It also includes three distinct paths to choose from, shaping the story, gameplay, and puzzles.

Set in the fictional Indiana Jones universe, the story follows Indiana Jones on a globe-spanning search for the legendary sunken city of Atlantis. He is aided by Sophia Hapgood, a former colleague who left archaeology behind to become a psychic. As they chase the mystery of Atlantis, Nazis pursue them, hoping to harness its power for warfare and serving as the adventure’s antagonists.
