About
Expect the ultimate B-movie trash experience. This adventure and shooter hybrid does not aim for state-of-the-art graphics, proper balancing, professional voice acting, or breathtaking scriptwriting. Instead, it delivers 100% pure trash, with countless bad jokes, dozens of pop-culture references, and a hidden, dense network of subversive and intelligent messages related to post-World War II politics.
A basic knowledge of pop culture is needed to enjoy the game, while an understanding of politics is needed to fully appreciate it.
Storyline
You are Peter "Pete" O'Brannon, a private eye whose work is less glamorous than it sounds. Most days involve tracking cheating husbands and lost dogs while surviving on cheap Chinese food in shabby motels.
Fortunately, Pete has a reliable client: GlobalSecure Inc., one of the largest insurance companies on the East Coast. Samantha "Sam" Miller leads the company's insurance fraud investigation department. She is tough, intelligent, and far better than Pete, but the company's Code of Conduct and strict ethics rules prevent her from taking semi-legal steps to obtain vital information and evidence.
That is where Pete comes in. For $500 per day in expenses and a 20% share of the money GlobalSecure saves through his findings, Pete handles the work Sam cannot.
