About
Jeanne d'Arc is a tactical role-playing game loosely inspired by the story of Joan of Arc and her struggle against the English occupation of France during the Hundred Years' War in the early 15th century.
The game features a historically grounded cast that includes many of Joan of Arc's contemporaries and allies. This contrasts with its fantasy elements, including magical armlets that grant special abilities and the premise that England's King Henry VI is possessed by demons who help his armies destroy France during the Hundred Years' War.
Storyline
Long ago, humans and demons fought a great war. Five heroes forged five magical armlets and combined their power to seal the demons away. Centuries later, France and England are locked in the Hundred Years' War. During a festival in Domrémy, a small village in France's Lorraine region, English soldiers launch a sudden attack. Guided by a voice from the heavens, the village girl Jeanne sets out to save France. Jeanne, along with her friends Roger and Liane, begins a journey to free their country from the tyranny of the demon-controlled English army.
