Knights of Decayden

Knights of Decayden is a rediscovered title from July 2022 and a long-lost exclusive release for the original Xbox. Developed by the team behind a series of acclaimed Star Wars games, it was quietly canceled by Microsoft two decades ago. Also sometimes spelled Decadyn, Knights of Decayden remained largely unknown to the public until its rediscovery, highlighting a hidden part of early Xbox history. The game had several names, including Knights of Utu, when it was pitched to Sony in 2000 as a PlayStation 2 game. It ultimately became an Xbox exclusive before its cancellation.

Players control a knight riding a flying seahorse and fight other knights and monsters with ranged attacks. The game also features lance-based jousting in slow motion and underwater dives against sea creatures.
