Left 4 Dead

From Valve, the creators of Counter-Strike and Half-Life, Left 4 Dead is a co-op action horror game for PC and Xbox 360 that throws up to four players into a fight for survival against massive zombie hordes and dangerous mutant monsters. Set in the immediate aftermath of a zombie apocalypse, its survival co-op mode is structured as four unique “movies,” taking your team across an abandoned city’s rooftops, rural ghost towns, and pitch-black forests as you try to escape a devastated Ground Zero. Each “movie” is made up of five large maps and supports one to four human players, with a strong focus on objectives and team-based strategy. Left 4 Dead also features Valve’s “AI Director,” which adjusts the pace and intensity of zombie attacks based on your performance to keep each run feeling different. Beyond single-player and co-op, Versus Mode pits teams in four-on-four matches, with players competing as human Survivors trying to reach rescue or as powerful infected boss monsters determined to stop them.
