Library of Ruina

"May you find your book in this place." In this stage-like conflict, guests battle librarians. Defeated guests become books, allowing the Library to grow. Ultimately, seek the one singular, perfect book.

Roland, a low-grade Fixer from a place known only as the City, is suddenly transported to the foyer of the titular Library, a mysterious location filled with books on every imaginable subject. There, he meets the Head Librarian, Angela. After a brief scuffle, Angela spares Roland and recruits him as her guide to the outside world. Angela sends calling cards known as Invitations, inviting people to the Library and allowing them to accept or decline. Guests who accept must survive mortal combat against the Librarians who guard the building. Victorious guests may take any book they want, but those who lose become books themselves. Everything serves Angela's goal: to obtain the one "perfect" book that can make her human.
