About
Machinarium is an award-winning indie adventure game from the makers of Samorost and Botanicula. A small robot, thrown into a scrapyard outside the city, must find his way back to confront the Black Cap Brotherhood and rescue his robot-girl friend.
Storyline
Machinarium opens with a sweeping look at the rusted robot city of Machinarium as a disposal flier launches from its tallest tower. Josef, the player-controlled robot, is dumped onto a scrapheap outside the city. After reassembling himself, he heads back toward Machinarium. Once inside, Josef uncovers a plan by his three thuggish foes, the Black Cap Brotherhood, to blow up the city’s tower.
