MechWarrior 5: Mercenaries

In MechWarrior 5: Mercenaries, you play a rookie MechWarrior pilot thrown into battle as the Third Succession War continues to fracture the Inner Sphere. Choose contracts from the factions you prefer and take on tactical, first-person PvE 'Mech combat in an immersive, career-based Mercenary campaign shaped by player choice. Victory, prestige, and profit require skill in combat as well as acquiring, maintaining, and upgrading your BattleMechs. Set for release in 2018, MechWarrior 5: Mercenaries is under development by a dedicated team at Piranha Games. MechWarrior Online, Piranha’s existing F2P, multiplayer-focused tactical 'Mech combat game, will continue its ongoing live development by the MWO team at Piranha.

The year is 3015. Humanity has spread to the stars, colonizing a vast region known as the Inner Sphere. After the Star League’s era of relative stability, generations of wars, alliances, and betrayals have fractured the Inner Sphere into five Successor States. These Great Houses have battled for centuries over the Star League’s remnants and control of the Inner Sphere, and they are now locked in the Third Succession War—a conflict that has raged for nearly 150 years. Across these battlefields, countless weapons bring ruin, but none rival the BattleMech. These towering war machines, piloted by elite MechWarriors, dominate the wars of the future with enough firepower to level entire cities.
