Mega Drive 3

The Mega Drive 3 is a "console on a chip" made by Lite Star in 2000 for sale in Asia. The system itself claims it was manufactured under license by Sega, although the production values are very unprofessional. It was released in Japan the following year as the Mega Drive 21. The console also functions as a controller that plugs directly into a TV, and the unit is similarly shaped to the Tectoy Master System Handy. Instead of a cartridge slot, it includes 20 built-in Sega Mega Drive games (though in reality there are only 8, with the rest being duplicates). It was sold in several colors, including transparent green and transparent purple.
