About
Moon Patrol is a side-scrolling shooter where players control a six-wheeled moon rover that can jump and shoot. The objective is to complete the course as quickly as possible while shooting enemies for extra points. Cannons mounted on the rover's front and top fire simultaneously when the fire button is pressed. Rocks, mines, and pits prevent players from simply driving right at maximum speed. Rocks and mines can be destroyed with gunfire, but pits must be jumped. Some enemies create new pits with their shots, requiring quick reactions.
Storyline
Moon Patrol is an arcade action game in which a lunar rover pilot travels across dangerous moon routes to complete each sector. Players blast hostile threats, clear rocks and mines, and jump over pits created by harsh terrain and enemy attacks.
