Long ago, the world was calm and peaceful. Intelligent technologies and neurobiology emerged with a Promethean promise of innovation and complete human liberty. However, the concentration of power created two dominant intergalactic corporate factions that constantly competed for greater influence and valuable resources. Their war triggered a devastating techno-biological disaster, leaving behind an inhospitable and dangerous universe inhabited only by scavengers, bloodthirsty creatures, and men of mayhem.
