About
Need for Speed: Underground 2 is set in Bayview after the events of Need for Speed: Underground. The prologue opens with the player driving a Nissan 350Z in Olympic City (though the racing scenes are actually in Bayview), the setting of NFS:UG.
The player receives a race challenge from an ominous figure who offers a spot on his crew and “won’t take ‘no’ for an answer.” Ignoring Samantha’s warnings, the player races out—only to be ambushed by a mysterious driver who, in a rage, totals the player’s Skyline. Marked by a distinctive scythe tattoo, the driver makes a call to confirm the accident as the flashback fades out.
Storyline
Need for Speed: Underground 2 continues the story after Need for Speed: Underground, moving the action to Bayview as you return to the street racing scene. After an ominous challenge leads to an ambush that destroys your car, you rebuild and race your way back into the underground while uncovering who set you up.
