About
From Benoit Sokal, creator of the award-winning Syberia series, comes Paradise, a fascinating adventure game set across four different worlds in the heart of darkest Africa. From the arid lands of Madargane to the dense jungle of the Maurane River, this world is both primitive and contemporary. Political turmoil fills its beautiful yet dangerous landscapes.
You play as Ann Smith, a young woman suffering from amnesia who is struggling to find her way home while avoiding the conflict around her. To discover her true identity, she must escort a strange black leopard back to the land where it was born. Follow Ann as she searches for clues to her identity and uncovers the truth behind her mysterious past.
Benoit Sokal's distinctive art direction brings four visually dazzling worlds to life, with more than 360 backgrounds and Rembrandt-style lighting.
Unique storyline: Ann Smith, the estranged daughter of an African dictator, loses her identity and must travel through uncharted Africa to uncover her past and the mysterious existence of her leopard companion.
Unique setting: Paradise is the first adventure game to feature African landscapes as its backdrop.
Play as the leopard: When day turns to night, players take control of the leopard in real time, climbing trees, leaping over boundaries, and frightening humans. This option adds a real-time element to the traditional point-and-click adventure gameplay.
Puzzle solutions are seamlessly integrated into the story. For example, to speak with a heavily guarded prince, players must pose as one of his wives to gain access, without relying on gadgets or levers.
