Partisans is a real-time tactical strategy game with non-linear storytelling about Soviet partisans during World War II. It focuses on the harsh realities of the time, when many people became reluctant heroes and every feat came at a cost—sometimes an extremely high one. The game portrays the war from a lesser-explored angle. While it is not a historical simulator, Partisans offers a unique interpretation of events and highlights the partisans’ everyday life, filled with cold, hunger, and wounds—yet with room for joy as well. You’ll face difficult choices, such as whether to help civilians and risk exposing your position, or to pass by and remain unseen. Use cunning and grit to overcome superior enemy forces, and retreat when the situation turns dire.

Partisans 1941 follows a Soviet partisan unit operating behind enemy lines in World War II, where every mission has real consequences. Establish a resistance camp, plan real-time tactical raids, and make hard moral choices involving civilians and survival while fighting a stronger occupying force.
