Persona 5

Persona 5 is a turn-based JRPG with visual novel elements about a high school student who has a criminal record for a crime he didn’t commit. After meeting others with similar circumstances, he discovers a metaphysical realm where he and his friends channel their frustrations into a stylish, rebellious group of vigilantes fighting corruption.

The story follows a 16-year-old protagonist after he transfers to Syujin High School in Tokyo, Japan. Living with friends of his parents, he meets the troubled Ryuji Sakamoto, the withdrawn Ann Takamaki, art student Yusuke Kitagawa, and Morgana—a talking, shape-shifting, cat-like creature. Feeling oppressed by their environment, the five form the Phantom Thieves of Hearts. Together they explore the "Palace," a castle formed from people’s hearts, and steal ill intent from others to help them. As their mission escalates, they clash with adult authority figures who stand in their way, while their actions draw out an even greater enemy.
