About
Pro Golf 1 is a single-player golf game featuring an 18-hole course. Each hole is drawn in the Apple II's low-resolution graphics mode and includes hazards such as water and sand traps. The game is played with the keyboard: first, choose a club, then enter the angle of each shot from 0 to 360 degrees. When putting, you must also enter the length of the putt.
The game has three parts: the front nine, the back nine, and an intro. The front nine and back nine contain all the holes of the Silicon Pines Golf Course, while the intro program provides instructions, a driving range, and a putting green.
Storyline
Pro Golf has no character-driven storyline. It follows a solo golfer playing all 18 holes of the Silicon Pines Golf Course, progressing from instruction and practice areas through the front nine and back nine. Water and sand hazards shape every round.
