Quake

Quake is an updated and remastered compilation of id Software’s original Quake, released for its 25th anniversary. It includes: - Quake (original version and enhanced update) - Quake Mission Pack No. I: Scourge of Armagon (expansion) - Quake Mission Pack No. 2: Dissolution of Eternity (expansion) - Quake: Episode 5 - Dimensions of the Past (expansion) - Quake: Dimension of the Machine (a brand-new expansion developed for this release) It also offers community-curated, updated mods as free downloads via Bethesda.net (online account and registration required) and includes a port of the Nintendo 64 Quake campaign at launch. On PC, all mods are supported; on consoles, the selection is curated. The Nintendo 64 campaign features maps slightly altered from the original PC release, a special screen filter effect, and the original soundtrack composed for that version. Multiplayer has been overhauled with options for four-player same-screen co-op or arena versus, four-player online co-op, and up to eight-player online versus via Bethesda.net, including crossplay across platforms. Steam versions also include Quake v1.09, which can be used for older campaigns and mods as well as classic LAN multiplayer. This edition adds technical upgrades on supported platforms, including widescreen support, 4K resolution, enhanced models, dynamic lighting, anti-aliasing, depth of field, and other graphical improvements. A later free update for Xbox Series and PlayStation 5 adds 4K/120fps support.

Quake throws you into a grim, otherworldly war against grotesque monsters and eldritch forces pouring through slipgates. As you fight across haunted strongholds and alien dimensions, you descend deeper into the nightmare to seal the portals and face the evil driving the invasion.
