Risk System

In the distant future, humanity discovers a way to replicate matter using a Dimensional Gate. Industry is revolutionized overnight, and a brief period of chaos gives way to all warring factions uniting under a common banner. A few years later, the peace created by Gate Technology collapses when a new threat emerges: a race of energy parasites that crossed through the Dimensional Gate by mimicking the materials humanity believed it was replicating. Mankind is quickly overwhelmed as its technology is turned against it, while the parasites' emitted energy begins controlling those exposed. In desperation, the experimental RSK9 is constructed. Made from Pre-Gate materials and technology, this ship can absorb parasite energy and use it to power its incredible arsenal. Alys pilots the RSK9, an ace pilot previously missing in action who has returned seemingly immune to parasite control. Her skill and resistance to the parasites' energy influence make her the only pilot capable of preventing humanity's extinction. NOTE FOR LINUX USERS: Due to game engine limitations, compatibility is guaranteed only for Ubuntu 18.04.2 LTS 64-bit or newer. The game will likely function on many other Linux distributions, but it is currently impossible to be 100% certain. We want to support the Linux community and welcome suggestions for improving compatibility in the future. GAMEPLAY: - Increase your B-Meter and firepower quickly by flying as close to enemy fire as possible and absorbing its energy. The closer you fly, the more energy you gain. - Fire your weapon while flying close to enemy fire and absorbing energy to perform powerful "Risk Shots." Enemies destroyed by these powered-up shots turn into energy that powers your shield. The best defense is a risky offense. - Fly like an ace pilot and use Barrel Rolls to quickly cover vertical space and modify your attack. - Unleash the Barrier Breaker when the B-Meter is full to inflict massive damage on everything in sight. - Play for points again, with higher scores awarded for explosive bursts of destruction and taking risks. Destroy multiple enemies at once and use "Risk Shots" to chain combos and increase your score multiplier. - Experience different story facets and paths based on your performance and actions during missions.

In Risk System, humanity's Dimensional Gate technology releases energy parasites that corrupt people and turn human technology against its creators. Alys, an ace pilot immune to the parasites' control, returns to command the experimental RSK9 and fight to prevent humanity's extinction.
