See You Later

There are so many things I want to do with you for the rest of my life: dream together, laze around, look at the moon, eat rice, take the biggest wedding trip to Antarctica, and most importantly, say goodbye to you.

I think I have forgotten how long I have spent with you. When I look at the moon, it is you who scents the hair in its halo. When I look at the sunset, it is you who holds me from behind beneath the evening sky. When winter comes, you are the warmest thing around me. When summer comes, your kiss tastes like iced coffee. The things we should do, the things we should not, the mistakes, the silly moments, the clever ones, and the things only the two of us can do—we have been through a million experiences together. But the one thing we have never done is say goodbye properly.
