Do you believe Christmas elves appear on New Year's Eve and Christmas? You may know of the good elves, but evil elves also exist. They create madness and may come for you whenever boredom strikes. They watch and test you, or perhaps they simply want to have fun. Will you play by their rules? Dima is a graduate student whose family is preparing to move. On September 7, Dima and his parents finally move into a new apartment. A few weeks later, Dima receives a funny Christmas Elf doll as a gift, and strange events begin to unfold in the house.

September 7th follows Dima, a graduate student who moves into a new apartment with his parents on September 7. Weeks later, after receiving a Christmas Elf doll, unsettling events begin to consume the household, forcing Dima to confront the malicious presence watching and testing him.
