About
Serious Sam: Kamikaze Attack is a 2D action game in which you play as a Beheaded Kamikaze pursuing Serious Sam to blow him up. Sam uses weapons including a rocket launcher and Serious Bombs to destroy the Kamikaze. Taking a hit kills the Kamikaze, but he can jump over incoming projectiles or kick them away at close range.
Kicking projectiles fills the Kamikaze's rage meter. If the meter becomes too high, he explodes and loses one life. Running out of lives ends the game and requires restarting from the beginning. A score system rewards actions such as returning projectiles and defeating Sam.
Levels are set in locations including deserts and forests, alongside challenge stages for players who have completed the main game and want an additional test of skill. Players can purchase and equip heads for the Beheaded Kamikaze that alter attributes, including the rage-meter penalty for kicking away projectiles. These heads represent Serious Sam series characters such as the Sirian Werebull and Kleer Skeleton.
Storyline
In Serious Sam: Kamikaze Attack, a Beheaded Kamikaze pursues Serious Sam through deserts and forests with a single goal: to blow him up. To reach Sam, the Kamikaze must evade or kick back rockets and Serious Bombs while keeping his rising rage under control.
