Snufkin: Melody of Moominvalley is a musical adventure game in which Snufkin must restore harmony to Moominvalley after a series of grotesque parks ruin the valley's natural balance. Based on Tove Jansson's beloved Moomins, Snufkin: Melody of Moominvalley follows the free-spirited wanderer Snufkin as he returns to the tranquil Moominvalley he calls home. He finds the once-idyllic valley spoiled and dilapidated, with its natural beauty disrupted. His dear friend Moomintroll has also gone missing after being taken by the game's antagonist, the officious Park Keeper. Determined to set things right, Snufkin journeys across the valley to restore it and rescue his kidnapped companion. True to the gentle spirit of the Moomins, this adventure unfolds without violence. Snufkin instead uses music and melodies to interact with the world and its inhabitants as he explores. Along the way, he meets Moominvalley's whimsical characters and gradually reverses the changes imposed on their home. It is a quiet, dreamlike story of a solitary traveler reclaiming a peaceful place and reuniting with the friend he cannot leave behind.
