Sonic Galactic

Sonic Galactic is a 2D Sonic fan game inspired by the classic games. With a Saturn-inspired art direction, Sonic Galactic aims to continue where the classics left off. It features new zones, brand-new sprites, and a new character: an energetic mole who joins the team in its battle against Dr. Eggman. The fan game has been in development for about three years and currently uses Hatch Game Engine, an engine built from the ground up to accurately replicate the classic games.

The group assembles. These five heroes are responsible for putting an end to Eggman's plans this time. Sonic the Hedgehog: The blue blur is full of attitude and always eager to begin a new adventure. After Dr. Eggman's prolonged absence following their last battle, Sonic starts to feel a false sense of security during his vacation, unaware of what is coming. Miles "Tails" Prower: Sonic's closest ally and most trusted friend, this curious fox is always ready to join Sonic on his adventures. After scanning the badniks that interrupt their vacation, Tails and Sonic rush toward their source: Dr. Eggman. Knuckles the Echidna: The steadfast guardian of Angel Island and the Master Emerald. Knuckles quickly realizes that Dr. Eggman has returned when badniks attack Angel Island. Their failure to target the Master Emerald raises his suspicions. Understanding what this means, Knuckles joins Sonic and the others to take Dr. Eggman down for good. Fang the Sniper: This cunning weasel always has a plan to earn himself a bountiful profit, though most plans work against him. Fang does not take kindly to being abandoned in the Atomic Destroyer by Dr. Eggman, so he teams up with Sonic and the others to bring Eggman down, purely for selfish reasons and rewards. Tunnel the Mole: This excitable young mole is adventurous and always ready for a challenge. After noticing the abnormalities on Illusion Island caused by Dr. Eggman, Tunnel decides to follow Sonic and the others after determining that they can be trusted to uncover what is happening.
