The Sorcerer King is like the evil mage who already won the last traditional 4X game—he has conquered the world. His enemies, including you, are scattered. Armies are shattered, cities lie in ruins, and his dark minions roam freely, terrorizing survivors everywhere except a few tiny outposts of civilization—like the one you begin with—too insignificant to crush.

In Sorcerer King, the world has already fallen to an unstoppable dark ruler, and you begin as one of the last fragile outposts of civilization. With armies shattered and cities in ruins, you must rebuild, expand, and resist the Sorcerer King’s minions as they terrorize the lands. The campaign focuses on survival and the struggle to push back against a single, overwhelmingly powerful enemy.
